This weekend (the 25th and 26th of October) I will be at the Gateway Crosscup in Queeny Park showing off some bikes! Swing by to watch some races and stop by my tent to check out some of my more recent bikes.
In between two frames I had a quick frame repair. Originally I thought it would require me to replace the lug and possibly head tube, however as the HT was not actually damaged I just had to drill out the bottom of the crack, file it out, and fill it will silver. Now I just have to build a replacement fork for the bike and it will be out the door.
I just had a great weekend at the "Singletrack Mind" festival in Highland, MO where they let me set up in the vendor expo area and show off some of my bikes. I was fortunate enough to have two new really eye catching frames ready to show off.
Having never been to the area all I can say is WOW. From the number of trail features to the diversity of the trails there is an amazing amount of stuff to ride out there. The group of volunteers that manages the area has done an amazing job in an extremely short amount of time with those trails. I am definitely going to make getting out there more of a priority when I get down to Springfield.
Mike and Tom were extremely cool with letting me take their new bikes to the event before they even had a chance to check them out. Jason even missed out on racing his single speed so I could take it as well!
