Mikes frame is finished and ready to go off to the painters on Monday. This was definitely an interesting one (all of Mikes bikes seem to be). 20" fat bikes are not something you see every day, also the need to design around a certain set of hubs (135mm rear and 100mm front, not the usual for fat bikes) meant I had to offset the wheels in the frame and fork. Also I got to put on a kickstand plate, first one yet.
My next project is a 27+ (sounds so much better than 27.5 plus, though hopefully they never come out with a 27"+ tire... gah!) for Tom. It is going to be my first frame on my new jig and is going to have a lot of new fun stuff on it.
Also, I got a new Jig! It was about time to upgrade the Bringheli (which happens to be for sale right now) to something a little nicer. The Anvil is definitely a welcome addition to the shop!
