My latest project is a lugged, disc, cyclocross frame that is going to be used as a demo frame at the local bike shop. Using Llewellyns awesome double oversized lugs and True Tempers 7-4-7 Hoxplatt tubing this is going to be a fast and light frame.
The biggest change with this frame is the use of pins during the brazing of the lugs. Normally I braze the frame in the jig, and while this works the jig itself acts as a heatsink and sucks all of the heat from the frame. By adding the pins to keep the frame in alignment out of the jig I was able to heat up the whole joint far easier to ensure greater silver penetration of the lug.
